I think this might be my first Half Dime that does NOT have clash marks. However it does have a strike through or lamination on the reverse mostly noticeable on the I in DIME. What do you think PCGS gave this?

This is a pretty coin. I'm basing my grade off the reverse and I'll say they gave it MS63

I want to call it AU58, but I keep coming back to those amazing fields. Not a Proof, unless EFL felt like spending five figures on a 1.3g coin.

MS63+.

PCGS AU55 In an old green holder. I like this coin as AU58. The lamination on the reverse would likely always keep it from MS but this coins fields are really nice.

SsuperDdave I would like to get a proof of these in the future but probably one of the later dates so I don't spend quite that much for such a tiny coin!

I admit that I know very little in terms of laminations, Half Dimes as well, but would a lamination really hold it back from MS as it would have been done at mint.

Just curious, as I would have thought the only thing holding this coin down would have been the wear on the knee and head (if it is wear and not a weak strike/worn die.)
