I was upset that my photos weren't doing this coin justice, so I decided to take some more pictures. Surprisingly, these are taken with only regular sunlight and an LG Optimus L90 Smartphone Camera.

All are of the same coin at diff. angles:

I'm not saying it is artificial, but the average onlooker ought to be questioning how it's propagated on this coin. The involvement of the devices is disturbing, as is the shadowing around it. Left to my decision, I'd think it was recovering from a dip. I've seen this before, on my own desk. Deliberately, for the record, so I could see how it looks.

This is one of those where you have to look for a while to decide if it's a slider or not. I'm going with the reverse which says it's Uncirculated, and technical merit is MS63 if the toning flies.

I agree that the obverse surface looks altered. The very first picture under the chin just doesn't sit right with me.

Oh boy, I have to agree with SD. It's tuff to be certain of that colors originality. The way the color "surrounds" the stars on the lower right is suspect but also looK just under the bottom of the date numerals where you should see clean, untoned metal this is called "pullaway" where the force of the strike slightly depressed the fields under the numbers kinda making a doubling effect. Clean Pullaway is something coin doctors CANNOT replicate and when seen is a dead on indicator of NT at least in those areas (also can happen with the stars and lettering)... that said it is NOT a smoking gun for AT but only gives cause for pause that your coin has pullaway that is toned and not clean.

Here's a visual, the first 2 are NT of coarse. The green 78cc is not doctored however it has an old cleaning that has toned the coin a beautiful green color but look under the 1 carefully and you will see what I mean. Since the color was made from a liquid that covered the entire coin to clean it (just like how intentional doctoring works) being able to avoid coloring the pullaway is impossible
