Here is a really nice doubled die reverse on the Canadian 1955 Twenty-Five cent piece. I reported upon it in Canadian Coin News twice but forget the dates of publication. I later reported upon it in the CONECA Errorscope in 2009 where I said:

"Aaron Waller of British Columbia, Canada submitted a Canada 1955 twenty-five cent piece with strong hub doubling on the date and in several areas of the caribou design including the antlers and area above the strongly doubled designer initials, HP. Strong doubling is also seen on the entire word CANADA while moderate to strong doubling can be found on 25 CENTS.
It was originally listed in the 1980s for old-time CONECA member, L. G. "Long Gone" Davenport as VCR#1/DDR#1 but this is the first one I have been able to photograph."

This one is not nearly as nice as the 1953 but it's no slouch!

Not an easy coin to find, and those that do come to surface tend to sell well...

love the pics, I have been hunting this and the 1953 for a loooong time now but probably not as long as many here. I still say the 1946 DDO + DDR takes the cake though...

I saw a 1952 DDO listed high MS grade at like 350usd, is that completely outragous? Whats the trend for lets say MS64 25 cents 1952 DDO?

jeyrey2000, honestly I haven't heard of or seen one but if the doubling has a spread like the '55 and '53 than the price wouldn't be out of the question...

Hello

Here are some photos in two color tones of my 25 ¢ 1953 DDR.

I have just put the numbers 9 and 5, the "H" and the star.

Very nice! This is a fantastic doubled die reverse! I plan to post pics of the one in my files in a few days as I get time.
