I love all the coins I got in 07, but if I had to choose it would be the two Barber quarters I found metal detecing twenty feet apart. Both in VG condition. One being a 1909, and the other a 1914. I guess the fact that I found them is what excited me.

I can't decide between an EF 20 Cent piece and a PQ-BU Half Cent. I'll have to flip a coin to decide :) But if I have to pick, the Half Cent is very beautiful. I've seen so many brown ones I forgot what the real color was.

Every coin I buy is always my favorite, but when I can find one of those that I looked for when I was a kid, it becomes a special favorite. This year I picked up several of these. 1877 Indian cent, full red 31s, full red 09s vdb, and a full red 08s Indian. Of these I had only the 31s Lincoln in 1957 and could only dream of the others. All I can say is " its still fun'.

This was my addition, an 1807 Draped Bust Dime. I had the half and quarter and was waiting to be able afford one for many years. Its not a beauty but I am glad to have it.

"Someone making a year set?"
No, just coincidence, I am working on a type set and I like to match dates when I can.

I see. Maybe you should make a year set, bet it would one of the few 1807 year sets around. The Half Cent and cent shouldn't be too bad to obtain but the dollar will be the killer.

I can't pick just one coin...... The Jamestown $5.00 gold ..... 9 Large cents.......my Dad giving me a Carson City Morgan $570.00 value ( Red Book)....... Indian Heads...... different Barber varieties...... 1000 Wheat head pennies at an estate auction for $50.00 that were UNSEARCHED BY ANYONE EXCEPT THE GUY WHO DIED WHO HAD THEM ! And I was the first one at the auction so no one else looked at them.......produced many goodies......... Yeah it was a good year for me ! (made some bad choices too though)

Mine would be this Trade dollar. I've always liked them and was finally able to get one. Honorable mention: The coin that started my Shield nickel obsession.
