I recently found this coin while cleaning my attic. I've done a little digging but unsure if it's a replica or how to even tell. Anyone have any ideas or advice. Thank you. .

As a Philadelphian, I can attest that, for many years, historical tourist sites across the Eastern Seaboard sold these replicas of the Continental Dollar, the proposed dollar coin of the Continental Currency. Only a relatively small number of original pattern pieces were made, mainly in tin; the Continental Congress were too cash-poor to put out anything but paper money (see my avatar). This replica is rather crude; you can't even read the motto beneath the sundial: MIND YOUR BUSINESS.

Agree with philadelphian. Crude cast replica. There are literally thousands of these floating around.
The real coins were generally pewter and a few known of brass.

Check the edge. Does it say "copy" on the edge? Those made after 1973 have "copy," I think.

Also, flat edge or reeded edge?
