@discovery. Did you actually try to put some coin<$100 to the basket and see the total?

@mts you are right! I tried to put less than a $100 and it added shipping. What's with that? According to email suppose to be free shipping benefits as part of Master's Club membership.

I've tried just now. With my near CAD 1.000 spending, not sure, that I have to be qualified as MC, but added $25 item to basket and I see the shipping as "0.00"

@silveroid Are you sure it's an item that is not already advertised as free shipping?

@silveroid try it with an item just under $100 as mts suggested. First time I tried with an item under $20 got free shipping. Next time I tried with item just under $100. Got no free shipping.

Tried with the 1oz "In The Flanders Fields" for $89.95 - same thing: free shipping still possible.
same with the 1oz Maple Leaf Reflections for $99.65
Oh...I checked the profile and it's "Silver", so I do suppose to have Free Shipping.....well it will be changed next year for sure.

I'm sure, if you bring it to their attention that you were charged shipping... they will credit your shipping charges immediately. It used to happen to me on a regular basis.

So, for those of you who have already spent $2,000 during the current 2014-2015 year, will you be eligible to receive the free wooden coin box when this new benefit starts? For those who are a few dollars away from achieving the Platinum level, would it be beneficial to buy some of those $200 for $200 just to make the threshold before June 30, 2015? I ready their FAQ (below), but it's hard to decipher. I am already a Masters Club member. How will it change? Membership will only get better! Your Masters Club membership level as of this year - SILVER, GOLD or PLATINUM - is calculated based on your Royal Canadian Mint purchases over the 2014-2015 year. You can look forward to receiving a Welcome Package with full program details in July. Meanwhile, please visit mint.ca/mastersclub where you'll find full program details on the rewards and benefits coming. Your account information and password will not change. Which purchases qualify for the program year allocation? Every purchase made (exclusive of tax), beginning July 1, counts toward your membership for the next program year. The membership levels as of this year are based on purchases over the 2014-2015 year. Should you reach the next purchasing level during the 2015-2016 program year, you will begin to enjoy the new membership benefits right away! No need to wait for the next program year.

Interesting. Last week I was Platinum which expired in April of 2016. Now I've been downgraded to Gold and it expires in two weeks. I guess on July 1st, I'll be starting over. When I look at what I've spent with the RCM directly, not to mention from other sources over the years, I don't get the feeling they appreciate my business very much. Added: As others have noted, free shipping now applies to only over $100 - at least on the website. lol.

Strange. I hope it gets fixed soon. Order for the flag 25 cents on June 10 had free shipping. Got a Welcome to Masters Club email June 12 with a much closer ending now, June 30 2015. It was June 30, 2016. Now I tried to order something small to get the free Canadian Coins Numismatic and they want me to pay for shipping. So I took the book off the order and the shipping was still there and can't add he book back again - says I already used it, huh?

I hope it is just some kind of DB conversion, but as of now I'm nobody (with 0 dollars spent) after being Platinum Plus MC member just a few hours ago.

Just checked and logged into mint.caMy "gold status" was taken away. I am down to a nobody as well. The site states: You are $1,000.00 away from becoming a Masters Club Member! $0 --------------------- $1000 Masters Club Masters Club program year runs from July 1st to June 30th.
