How Does PCGS Label Cleaned Coins? - Coin Community Forum

Paulsz Pillar of the Community Canada 2187 Posts	Posted 06/11/2015 12:12 pm Hi, From what I know, PCGS labels and certification numbers have the grade of the coin in them. For example, and XF40 coin would have a cert. number like XXXXXX.40/XXXXXXX But what if a coin gets a details grade. Cascade Pillar of the Community United States 7390 Posts	Posted 06/11/2015 1:20 pm Yes they do. For pcgs I believe a cleaned coin is a 92 code while say environmental damage is 96 or 98 I think. Pcgs does NOT give a numerical grade to a details coin like say anacs. Only a ballpark like xf, au, unc, etc... Report this Post to the Staff
