I got these close ups but not sure how to post so If someone will sent me their E-Mail will forward these and maybe you can get them to post. Wish I know how to do this stuff. Listed as MS-65 but I know that is not correct so you guys give me your opinion. Most of these marks are not visible with the naked eye.

I'll send you an email; just enclose the pics in your reply and I'll do what it takes to get them posted.

Well I now know USCG is a bunch of cra@#$. I have one other graded coin that is graded by SGS...Sheldon. I found this website

http://coins.about.com/od/coingradi...on_scale.htm

Are they reliable?

I think I better stick around and get some education....Geesh!

Well now. How about a VF/XF that has been Whizzed to death. Regardless of grade, its Bullion.

Just my opinion, its worth what you paid for it.

Ok, I'm still learning the grading curve, but how can any "grading" service rate this coin MS? They missed this by 1 whole category, I don't see this coin making AU.

It's simple. They're not honest. Plain as that. They take advantage of people who know no better, and there are a lot of those in numismatics. This is not a hobby for the uninformed - fraud is widespread - and there's no way to sugarcoat that fact.

Boomer,

Re your question about SGS ... they are another company that you need to knock down about three grades consistently. There are four that I trust to get it in the ballpark (PCGS, NGC, ANACS, and ICG) but all of them make mistakes now and again. That's why we've developed a cardinal rule in this forum about buying slabbed coins:

"BUY THE COIN, NOT THE SLAB"

Stick around and we'd be happy to show you the ropes.
