I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and guess jbuck and possibly a few others on this thread is going to be sitting in front of their respective computers on August 11th waiting on the "bell" to go off on the mints website? Actually it wasn't exactly a stab in the dark........ I cheated and got out my crystal ball

Cascade-- it's mostly lint and other dust like debris inside the capsule. Now taking a good look with 10x magnifier, the 'frosted' fields are pretty granular-- maybe it's due to the manganese, zinc & nickel composition or from the die or even metal flow issues? Not as smooth as the fields on an silver based RP. To compare, the contrast between fields and devices on the RP dime is excellent. Proofs of either variety shouldn't have much of a cartwheel effect on the frosted areas when rotated, this example definitely has it. The frosting on the fields is not quite even. I also find an irregular bright spot on the reverse directly above the $1. Not altogether a successful RP, IMHO. It looks like a PR68 at best. First struck from fresh dies PR70s might be hard to come by and could be a sleeper? Especially if most of the examples look like this. The metal type might not be the best medium for the RPs as metal flow might be an issue?
Let's leave it at, "I'm just NOT wild about Harry."

Well, if tomorrow were not a holiday I would probably get mine then. Looking good for a Monday delivery, although I will not be too mad if it came on Tuesday.

My problem free C&C Truman sets arrived!! At first glance I get the impression the Truman sets are waaay smaller than the FDR set and the missing bronze makes you have to take the silver medal out to see the reverse which isn't fun. I'd take a picture to compare the two if my FDR set wasn't sealed and sunken at the bottom of a lake. Overall, so, so, because my expectations were set high with the FDR set.

I would guess at or near $300 if PF69 are just under $200 but that's just my guess
