Hey kairu, you got your fill already plus the wife would have probably kicked you to the couch As to grading. I will be going ngc most likely but I'm waiting a week or so. Why not and you'll have a better idea of the market in a 10 days with another 10 days to get it to ngc

New seller selling an ngc 70 set @ $2,200! But a pcgs 69 set sold yesterday for over $400! Now I'm torn on paying the $18 extra per coin Will definatively reserve judgment for a week or so on who I'm sending to! Also a solo pcgs 70 RP is at $430 right now... 371379849117

Quote: Yes, we are starting to see how the fmv will play out! Yup...right now there are VERY few graded coins available and there IS no market price..just WAG buys..wait until the real numbers come out. Mine are leaving my collection next week and will be on the road to Florida. I will never understand why some people feel the need to be the 1st to buy something....and pay twice as much (or more) than they have to...there will probably be a BUNCH of 69's available and they will NOT stay at or anywhere near $400. Even $200 for a 69 is a bit out there....maybe in a few years but not in the months to come.

Yup, even solo 69 medals are at $80+ with lots of time to go. I don't care about getting those graded. I'll be keeping mine sets for a while not selling but still want the trumans in FS slabs for sure. I'll be keeping 1 in ogp though that's a 68 at best so why not. My other 4 look like they have a shot at 69 with 2 possible 70's (maybe) plus I need to pay an extra $50+ to send my Strikethrough error seperatly but who cares, I will get an error slab truman! (Wonder what that will go for? I might have to put $50k on it and see what top offers are lol. Wouldn't be selling though)

Yeah that error Truman would be really interesting to see what it goes for. Wouldn't that be something if someone actually bought it for 50k ;P

First of all: I believed that many people were caught off-guard of the fact that the coin were sold out at the Mint w/in 12-15 mins. All the 'low hanging fruit' are being picked (all low listings are pretty much gone). Price for raw set have gone back up to average around $150s range. I believe price for raw set will go up further. Why? MCM direct page has 128 sets left at $159/set (they have been selling quite a few). Other listing of BIN on ebay have sold quite a few set at $160 price range (at least 50 sets from the top few dealers). Even $200 for a 69 is a bit out there....maybe in a few years but not in the months to come. I have to disagree about the price of PF69. I believe the price for PF69 will goes toward $300 and will settle below that, but not less than $250/set. Some of the facts reinforce my disagreement: - MCM listing on ebay and on their direct page were all gone. I believe they have at least 100 set in MS/PF 69 sold (their direct page had at least 80). They may have underestimated demand (if they raise their price on their next batch of coins then this will be confirmed). - Current lowest BIN price on ebay is $244/set ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-P-REVE...1ea132f825), which sold 10 w/in the last 24hrs. I agree there are only a few auctions for the PF69 sets (from the same seller), some of them are over the $200 price mark . We will see the results in a few day. This will give us better pictures. Optimism with CAUTION: Once those coins in OPG are being screened and sent to NGC and the over all result of average grade for this set is revealed ==> PRICE WILL MOVE LOWER. Another factor/wildcard that will impact this set's price: NEXT RELEASE in August. More twists will come.... Personally: I will send some of mine in for NGC, hoping for PF70. Happy collecting, everyone.

Well spoken SA, you summed up my line of thinking too very well. This morning I was wondering if I would wake up tomorrow morning & mcm was going to jump their price to $250 or $299 for their 69 sets overnight.
I have determined that at least 1, maybe 2, of my sets will be 68 at best so keeping in ogp. I will probably go pcgs for 2 regular service & 1 through error service and eat the $18 label fee per. The pcgs sets seem to be getting a better price over ngc plus I believe the pcgs FS labels will be more rare and possibly more desirable in the long run. But who know and that's half the FUN!
