Hear hear, Cascade! :) I too am glad I found this forum. The other I read is more... investment/profit-ish then collecting but since I try to get some profit when I can it goes towards collecting so I enjoy their thoughts. Also, I got a day left on my Truman C&C set was at first thinking it would go for around the $120-130 but since then prices have moved higher. Can't wait to see where it gets to! :D

Just a heads up: the United States MInt confirmed today that the household order limit for the Eisenhower Coin and Chronicles set has been reduced to 2 sets per household.
I'll post this notice on the Eisenhower C and C set thread too, but figured Truman set collectors would want to know too.

I just read the article. The mintage will remain the same at 17,000 for the Ike set.

Good to see the limit lowered. I supposed two is fine, but who really needs more than one? The good news here is the world is less likely to suffer my wrath (after being denied the Eisenhower set).

I am glad to hear that they lowered the HH limit instead of increasing the mintage. They'll still be valuable this way, in fact, probably more desirable since dealers, flippers, etc will have a hard time getting their hands on large quantities and impact the supply owned by collectors.

Quick question for those with the Truman set considering getting it graded. In order to be eligible for early release with NGC, do the coins need to be mailed within 30 days of release or received by NGC within 30 days of release?

Corey I believe the cutoff date for both NGC and PCGS was July 30. So to answer, yes within 30 days of release I believe.

Today is July 14, you still have at least a week left to submit the coin(s) and still eligible for ER/FS.
