Don't Come Back Now, Y'hear

I think that day is still a long way off. There's lots of low income folks who still live on a mostly cash basis and don't have any sort of bank account. Banks/ credit cards / etc. will be reluctant to take them on as customers as they will not be a good source of revenue, so that basically leaves cash.

Also, sometimes people say that cash is outdated or whatever, but these days the Greeks sure seem to be willing to wait at an ATM to get.

The only thing like this was when I first started CRH the teller told me "We dont want these back!" Now though They are always asking, even when I havent gotten boxes lately, if I have a box that I could deposit or they could buy. They save on gas having to get coins from another branch, and get to stay open cause they ran out of X coin type. That bank is always happy to see me now and asking what type of coin I would like each time I go in.

Another bank could care less, its their job and its only a box or two extra every other week. They said "Give us all your money in ALL forms shapes and sizes." (Which is reasonable being a bank, but when the teller says it that way it makes it sound like its a bank robbery.. the bank is robbing you!)

Well Fargo.. I just get halves boxes from them and they get spent on Project $100k.

I really found a way to spend every coin type without having to return them so I am not bothered with it anymore. But what do I do with all the Lowes Hardware gift certificates from CoinStar for the pennies? They really need to add more places or at least ones found locally to me. Why can't CoinStar have PayPal?

It's not that big a deal to me to roll the coins - as I don't do as much as some of you folks, but the banks never seem to have wrappers for halves. I guess I will just have to spend them.
