if the rumours are true of a stupid coloured version next month

really stupid idea.
The originals have been commissioned, but the items with "old/fresh" design were great.
Now to re-use it again? Seems, there is a third-party branch of "German Mint" inside RCM, which doing all the colorization decoration.

Maybe the RCM hired a 3rd grade class from Ottawa.

Not only RCM, the coins-like items come from everywhere with increased rate. New Mints, new series.

All of the other Mints are over producing coins.

Like the Norse Gods coins that seem to proliferate like rabbits. Did not buy a single one despite the hype on the other forum. People on the other forum don't seem to catch on that all NCLT coins will be going for a discount in the future, not only RCM ones.

But looks like, the members from other forum, who planned to buy, planning to resell the coins quickly.
So, for that purpose the coins are good. But not for the collection in the long term.

I agree with the above, ALLLLLLL NCLT coins from all mints will drop in price.

Granted each mint might have a winner here or there that is in big demand but thats a rare thing.

so in this thread we were talking about the 2015 Scrooge McDuck silver coin.

dealers had it at 84, then 77, then it dropped from the 70s to the highs 60s, then low 60s around 64. Now a dealer on ebay has cut the price again, to 60. (prices are in USD)

See a common thread here? Lower prices and continuing lowering of prices results in much lower prices, the power of the trend. Clearly demand is dropping hard and the impulse buyers for these coins are long gone. I believe this coin has a mintage has a mintage of 10K?... so I mean there is going to be ample supply.

It will be interesting to see if this coin breaks 60....

If initially was no real interest to the coin, the price with the time declines, nothing could give impulse to the sales... as for example not few really good RCM coins with nice design like 2005-2006 National Parks, go for CAD 40-50.

So yes, not different from this coin.
