The 1927 D is scare in higher grades like so. I don't think it's UNC though, maybe AU details. Looks like a D/D though.

I was watching that, but with harsh cleaning. I noticed most sellers are selling way above numismedia guide, or buyers throwing money in the wrong way. I have bought once from this seller: Vette1986, but you have to look at the pictures real hard sometimes with what he's selling.

Yes vette is one that YOU HAVE TOO pay close attention to his pictures. Kind of almost reminds me of a coinconsignmenthub feller.
Rest in Peace

I don't like any coins from listed by Vette. AU details sounds good to me too.
I would not buy or bid on anything he's offering.

I like Vette, he just buys and sells so I have no doubt that he's not the one doing the cleaning. He just moves em on. I was warning everyone here about consignment hub and they blocked me so they must be reading this site.

My attitude towards this seller (Vette) has evolved over the years into one of grudging respect. I initially (years ago before he had this large a record) didn't like the guy. Over time, though, his approach hasn't changed - he's absolutely consistent, his imagery is always the same and can be judged knowing his "style" - and any number of personal testimonials exist here at CCF with satisfied members. He's survived and thrived without being anything except a volume coin seller.

350,000 Feedbacks later, bidding frenzies like this happen to sellers. The seller never noticed - he's moving too many coins. Wonder how many people his operation needs these days.

I think it required only a few staff members at most, maybe a family own operation, everything has a "template" built in. The only thing is getting the supplies of coins?

I have made some very good purchases off this seller in the past... ssuperddave is exactly right- his photos remain 100% consistent and many times you can snag a real good deal
