Friends You had requested more clear pic of the 1916 Nickel showing DDR.

I retired and shoot the same angel image (TWICE) .Just to be certain that the camera is capturing the truth.

To my knowledge 1916 DDO have been found but not a DDR.
The DDO of the era are very desirable, even without the date portion showing.

If its a clear vote I'll send it in to ANACS.Graded as a DDR ...it would be US Mints History in the Making.

God Bless,
Beck.

Blurry pics just won't cut the mustard. You need a better base for your camera.

I didn't see your original post but wondering if yhese two reverse pics are crops of the same photo. The doubling I see is showing on the highlights in your pics, and I'm thinking consistantly on all the highlights over the coin . What I'm seeing at the moment to me is camerd shake giving the look of doubling. Clearer pics, not just crops may be needed.

I can see what your getting at on the top of the "S" on CENTS. But agreed with everyone else you will need to get us some better pictures for a more conclusive answer.

Well, thanks for your input. Due to the type of doubling it is...I could do more with the equipment I have. Till then.. I would have to wait. I even mailed the local coin shop here if they can help to take better pic of a coin with links to this forum. And no replys ...from the coin shop in DC.
