2007 was a bad year for me, so 2008 is looking a lot better already.
I hadn't seen your post revising the closing date, so I have been beavering away, making a list of Oz authors. That can wait for another day.

G'day,
I had an evening out tonight; checked my mail on the way home, and there was an envelope from New York - with three very pretty stamps.
It is very pleasant here now: just gone midnight; 29 Celsius (= 84 fahrenheit); light breeze. If it rains tonight, I have another excuse to postpone mowing my lawn.
A big mug of Milo, and some music, set me in the mood to open my American missive:

Costa Rica 5 colones - orchids on the obverse; a colourful scene, including palms, on the reverse;
Iran - 100 rials, with portrait of, I think, the Ayatollah.
