I was just doing some transcription on Oregon Box 2 and found some incredible banks I'd never seen before. Like this one from Linnton, now a neighborhood in north Portland.

Notes from the FNB of Linnton, Oregon can be counted on one hand. Heritage has sold 3 of the 4 reported notes and Lyn Knight has sold 1. There are pictures of all four notes in the auction archives.

Pennsylvania is chugging along.

Box 6 is ready for reviewing. Box 7 needs both transcribers and reviewers.

I just closed out Pennsylvania Box 8! Among the interesting proofs are some from the only national bank without the word "National" in it's name -- the Bank of North America. Which I understand required an act of Congress for the bank to retain.

Pennsylvania Box 12 is ready for transcription and review. Only 136 pages and I imagine it will go rather quickly.

Philadelphia was one of two cities that had more than one bank that had the bank information in a circus poster style layout. The other city was Shreveport, Louisiana.

There are also several errors on the proofs in the PA boxes. I'll post a few here -- let's see if anyone can spot what's wrong.
