Found these bills at work today. Two old $50 Stars, a 1974 $50 that seems to have a print shift error, the serial number on the left side is overlapping into the signature below and it seems to be in excellent condition!

Nice finds...I wonder how they made it back in circulation?

Wow. Except for some corner dings, that 3rd note looks darn near uncirculated. Amazing finds.

That third one looks awesome. I'm surprised by how good it looks.

My guess is that it was someone's cash savings they had at home. I work at a bank and these were all deposited with about 12 other old $50s ranging from a 1950 $50 to the 1974's. Honestly almost seems like a dumped collection or something. I thought it was very odd to have 2 stars among just a handful of notes. I am going to look through the rest of them today hopefully, see if any others are worth buying I just bought thsee 3 because of the star and the apparent error and awesome condition of the last bill.

I don't know much about errors at well, and I know it very slight but would the last bill hold much of a premium?

You don't find too many of those in circulation anymore.

I have a couple banks that save the older bills for me. Ninety percent are $50's and $100's. For most, the high denominations are to much to justify holding.

Unusual finds for sure. I don't envy you the decision on whether to hang on to them.
