Yup, that's why everyone needs to wait for supply to dry up before selling. Whoever said late November / early December hit the nail on the head for probably being the right time to sell if your flippin

i find it quite funny that people on ebay are flipping these sets for more than 3 times what they paid for them and MANY are charging for shipping. I guess I have a strange since of humor.

Quote: You didn't get yours yesterday? Mine hit the sort center at 4:22 but didn't complete until 9:10. Must be that I got lucky and my driver spent extra time drinking his coffee so that my box could make it on his truck. No, I did get mine yesterday. As soon as the box was delivered I had to high-tail it out of town for an overnight business trip so I didn't have a chance to open the box. I'm home now and am decompressing. Box will be opened shortly.... first a pour of scotch.

Finally...I did receive my sets. No one stole these this time....hooray for me.
No major issues with any $ or the medals. None are PR70 though, they all have a minor distraction with a 10x loupe. I'm happy to just get my sets.

Does anyone know what power loupe graders would use? I don't want to over scrutinize using more magnification if they won't

The OGP of my two Ike sets looks MUCH better than beat-up OGP of my Trumans, so for that I'm happy. One still had a bumped corner; oh well. That'll be the one I sell if I ever decide to do so.
I hate to be a Debbie Downer since these are pretty darn cool, but I sure would like the booklet to have had a little pocket to rest in instead of just being free to move around next to the book. And why would they insert the book spine first? Leaves an unfinished look IMO. Minor complaints, these. Happy to add to the collection!

The OGP is supposed to be some sort of soft-touch material. Looks pretty much like inked cardboard to me, unless for all these years, my cereal is packed in soft-touch boxes.

@Cascade.... missed the Ron Burgundy reference earlier. I'm sure he'd approve of this Ike C&C set nestled up to the many leather-bound books in his rich mahogany bookshelves. Like this! Ok, so it's oak. Sue me.
