My 70 is waiting to get sent off until my liberty high relief coins come in to go with (or will go alone Sept 7th to meet the ER deadline if the HR's don't show up by then) :D

I cannot understand the appeal of a label with a number on it.

@Reno32
I wish that was mine. I dont have any 70's. I dont even have any of these graded. I was just looking to see what was out there and how much the first one would go for. Curiosity.

I prefer OGP when collecting, but if the one I'm flipping has a chance to make a lot because a label says it's PF70, I'll send it in. Worst case scenario is the set I'm keeping is paid for. Best case.....I can do a lot more collecting. :D

Just had a chance to examine my Ike sets more closely and the RP dollar coins are far from perfect (divots/pits on the reverses, obverses are good), but they are good-looking coins regardless.
And the medal! Wow, what a great design. AND no visible surface scratches like on my Truman medals.
Also the OGP is in much better shape than my Trumans. Nice set.
Looking forward to Kennedy now!

While the other sets look as I expected, the Eisenhower medal looks way more impressive in hand than it does in the photos. I really do not know how to quantify the difference. Just something about makes me really happy.

Looks like they are dropping even further in price. I see most seeling at 150-170 now from 240-300 when it was first released.

I really like the medal design too. Only thing I don't like about it is that the viewers right side of liberty's face looks like she had a stroke
