I'm really surprised at the prices of 69/69 sets on ebay. They're going for about $130. 69 is a pretty darn good coin. I'd expect it to bring the same price as a raw set. Also, it seems that the auctions go low, but the BINs get a much better price. Anyone would be crazy to sell these as an auction. |

I agree. There is too much supply and very low demand. An auction will give the buyer a bargain.

I think things will change in a few weeks. Right now there are about 200 listings for this set. Once it goes below 100, the price will level off close to the Truman set. I think the Kennedy sets will always be low, but the small population of 69s will keep those prices up.

Anyone tracking performance of IKE raw set and graded 70 set?

The last 70 I could find sold for just under $1k. I purchased an NGC PR/MS 69 set including OGP for $149 today. IMO, the jury is still out on this issue. But, I Like Ike.
