Hell I'd do $249 but those ebay fees are probably the difference maker since MCM probably gets a better rate.

They obviously have someone in the know working there who cherry picked the best to submit and these must be real dogs for them to be selling them raw.

At the long beach show a dealer told me that withe the crash he had to buy on ebay and picked up 24 sealed sets at a $150 average. Sent them in and no 70 at all with either coin. He was wanting to vent and I couldn't blame him

I think the quality of the $1 is about the same...definitely not up to Mint RP standards.

I would add that the medal quality of the Ike is MUCH less with a couple of mine already with milk spots...

Well my ikes came back and I must say I got killed on the medals. I had all pegged at 69 or higher

(I did an unboxing video but o thought it was recording but apparently wasn't, oh well. No 70 anyway)

Ouch.

I cannot believe your medals scored so low. A 67? Really?

Tell me about it. I have gone over it again with a loupe and I can't find any reason for sub 69. Same with the 68. I guess the graders were having a bad day

Don't be too upset Cascade. I sent in a submission of 6 with my father and uncle. We got back a 69 reverse struck through error, 3 69s, and 2 68s.

Dang, 67... I hate that for you, but at least it wasn't the other way around.

I agree. Having low grade on the RP would be worse for your wallet.
