Ha. My ike capsules came back today and the coins are still be graded. Funny thing is I haven't even got my truman packaging back yet so I called this morning and after I was on hold for 5mins she said "oh, they were misplaced on the lady's desk but they'll be off to you tomorrow" no reason to doubt her but kinda strange

Just noticed an interesting statistic. There are nearly as many ebay closed auctions for the Ike set as the Truman set. Considering how much longer the Truman set has been around, it must be that there are more individual sellers for the Ike. Prices are creaping up to $175, so it must be that the supply is starting to dry up.

Old Skool. There were quite a few Truman auctions for a set of 5 where the Ike sets were mostly sold in 1 or 2. So that makes a certain amount of sense. And yes, the supply is starting to run dry...just in time for the next issue.

I know it's a long shot but is anyone looking to get rid of an extra Ike or Truman set? I'm planning to get jfk today but missed out on the others. Thanks!

@sa330206: You can put up your request in the Buy/Sell/Trade section. List your request in the "Want-list" section. I am sure a few members here can help. I can help you with IKE set.....

I just got word from NGC on my Ike submission. 69/69. I think considering how some of these sets looked, I should be pretty happy about that. I had one set that might have been a 66. My 2015 Sp Sac was also a 69.
I'm wondering why there is pop data for the Ike medals, but not the RP coin. You'd think they've graded more of those so far than the medal.

Thanks. One of these days I'll get a 70, but on this set I'm just glad I didn't get anything lower. With my luck, the 70 will be in the LBJ set.

Hey, that would be a good thing, right? Half the mintage of the JFK, it might actually sell out.

Mine are working their way back from Sarasota to Massachusetts via postal mule. Probably will arrive on Thursday or Friday
Also accompanying them on the trip are my C & C SAC's....
Won't check the grades 'till they get here...I think a better chance of a 70 from the SAC's than the Ike's. I'll be lucky with 69's on those.

One thing I've noticed is that there is a larger spread in prices than with the Truman sets. Some go for $145 and others $180. I attribute this more to the sellers than the buyers. Once the supply thins out and the more desperate sellers are gone, I think this set will equalize with the Truman.
