70 would have been nice, but I'm glad its not 68 or less. :D. One's going in the collection anyway (I figured submit both for a better chance at 70). I think the extra will be sold around Christmas.

Mine happily reside in the OGP. I would be afraid what they would get. A 68 would hurt my feelings and a 70 would risk temptation.

When do they usually update the census numbers of what they received? Having a hard time finding a break down of how many they graded and how many got what.

Thanks!........looking at the Truman numbers, is there really a difference between early releases and first releases?!?!? They couldn't just stick to one label if you got it in within 30 days?!? It's not like these coins were on sale for more than 30 days anyway. lol

They give the option and I don't think it really makes a difference. Anyway, anybody in the know, knows that technically, ALL of these are early release, first strike, or whatever. Quote:Numbers aren't out yet. But here's where you go. Click on PF next to pres dollars http://www.ngccoin.com/coin-census/us/ Only 6% were 70s. Bet Ike will be half that.

Oh well, I was busy and missed the deadline..... saved me $5/coin for now. I rather looking at each coin carefully before submission to screen out low grade coins before sending, better than send them in blindly.

Got my graded sets back from NGC today. No issues with them other than that they forgot to send back the capsules I requested. I'll just take the $3 credit like with the S&H issue (I asked for them back as an insurance policy they graded 68 or less, but I'm fine with 69).
