Yes but there really are a ton of casual collectors who think the ebay presellers are authorized mint distributors or the like and don't even know you can buy directly from the mint or just don't even think about it or are in a different country and don't know, etc...

yep...almost everybody I know have no clue ...about buying from the mint.

Glad they limited it to 2 per household. It makes for a better chance of your average collector to be able to get a set.

Does anyone know how the mint determines household? Is it just the street address, or do they take credit card info into account?

They determine it by billing address and shipping address. But, if you use a credit card the billing address is the shipping address. If either of those matches another order to the limit, you cannot order more.

if someone use a software to hide their ip I wonder would that work then use their own ip.

Reno32, I don't believe that IP has anything to do with it. It is all based on the shipping and billing address.

IP address isn't paid any attention to because there are people that order from WIFI spots...McDonalds, Starbucks, Library etc. It's all in the billing / shipping address.

In my experience, having the same billing address did not deter the two orders from shipping... I probably won't want to try again to make sure though :P

Really? That was a major overlook by the mint....it's address that matters (a.k.a household)
