Looks like a kind of nasty scrape dead centre of the reverse. Very nice otherwise. MS-63.

PCGS probably said MS-65. I think it's probably a 64.

The mark on the reverse is too distracting, MS63
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

PCGS gave it a MS65. To me its more of a MS64+. Themark on the reverse is not on the coin

It's a great 37 dime. (so the reverse center fine marks are not on the coin..?..Is that what you're saying ..? )

My problem is that I keep grading the coins here like I did in the 80's and 90's.

...and I should try to get up to the "new norm"...and be just a little less conservative ..

that's right, there are no marks. Those are smudges and scratches on the slab
