Apparently it is a region between Japan and the Kurile Islands. And the description of the pictured token from Vcoins: Middlesex 905: Summers' Wild Mans Head from the land of Jesso Choice Glossy Brown Unc. RR; this marriage about three times more rare, and far tougher to acquire in equal condition, than its D&H 906 counterpart. A fantastic obverse type which everyone wants; examples of the "commoner" D&H 906 in recent London auctions have all fetched between $1100-$1600 each. New collectors show up every day, but there will never be any more of these. A token which has done nothing but display a nonstop increase in value over the past three decades.
