Who knows really, could be a throwback reverse proof of the old type Ike dollars from the 60's and 70's. That would be a nice set to see.

(They were minted from 1971 to 1978)

There is a unknown RP CC going on sale on 8/24.

And what date is the RP Eisenhower set going on sale?

The RP Eisenhower is Aug. 11 and there hasn't been confirmation as far as I know about this C&C set. Just speculation it seems unless I missed something entirely

We're all just speculating on the stupidity or brilliance of what the mint is doing right now. All we know is they're being very vauge as to weather the Eisenhower, and presumably, the kennedy and Johnson rp's are going to be in a seperate future 2015 set. They're being very very sneaky right now

I would love for them to create a special version, but I do not know what authorization the mint would have to reuse that design for anything other than gold bullion (which is outside my normal budget).
