Hello all, I received 2 of these in change last night and need some help on the reverse lettering. Do you think this one maybe a Double die? The NORTH CAROLINA and PARKWAY are the lettering that I am asking about. Thank you for the help.

MD. The devices are incuse, so if it was a doubled die, the incuse devices would actually become thinner, rather than larger. MD scraped and enlarged the incuse devices.

The devices on incuse coins are raised on the die. Any movement during the strike enlarges the devices. Very common on the ATB Quarters. get a bunch of them and check. A high percentage of the coins you look at will have this on this series.
