picture is a little blurry/grainy, but looks like Large Date

For reference: http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...alldate.html

notice the top of the 7 on your coin, appears below the other numbers, and the inner part of the 9 kind of looks blunt

There are several ways to tell the difference between the large and small 1970-S cents. Many people seem to have a hard time with it, and I am constantly seeing large dated cents being sold on ebay as small dates. Learn the differences here: http://www.lincolncentsonline.com/l...lldates.html

Thanks for the links guys :)
By smaller mintage do you mean the mint mark is smaller than normal or few were produced?

I'm new to the coin game, but I've made the 1970s SD my personal goal... Yours looks like a LD for sure, the "0" pops up noticeably.

I in fact have a couple questionable specimens I would like to get everyones feedback on. Should I post them here or should I start yet another 70s thread?
