Newspaper report gives metal values of nickel/copper coins as;
5¢→4.89¢
10¢→9.78¢
20¢→19.56¢
So, where New Zealand goes so may Australia follow.

With the recent upsurges in many metal prices this is probably the situation for many countries. {In Zimbabwe, is the paper price nearly as high as their banknote values? Current inflation rate is just over 100,000%
and you need a wheelbarrow full of notes to do your grocery shopping. The presses are running overtime printing even more, and larger 'value' notes just to try and pay for Mugabes excesses. Where will it end?}
