Yes! It will go up one day, But will that be next year, 5 years from now or 20 years from now. I believe silver had a good run that stayed below 10 dollars for over 25 years. Just something Something to consider

Just a thought. If silver goes to $10 or below, would today adjusted cost to mine silver be profitable for the miners to continue their daily operation? And if miners stop or extend their delay of production, what other avenues would there be to produce silver cheaper?

Silver mines would simply shut down. A lot of silver is produced as a byproduct of copper mining.

However, if silver mines shut down (as many have been threatening of late), supply should drop and cause a stir in the manipulated price.

Ya someone most likely said the same thing before the last big race to $50. But ya it will either go down or it wont, you get a 50% chance either way of being right or wrong, keep guessing.

So this will affect my wanting to make a "pirate"/"treasure" chest full of silver Kennedy halves how? Seems like it will make it easier to do. Then those "stackers" will be able to set the price for Apple, Samsung, etc when they need more for making new dumb phones 6 times a year?

I see nothing new here that hasn't been known for centuries. Just seems like there is a current surplus of silver so prices have dropped, and when the supply runs short prices will rise again. Not going to stop me from keeping the 40% Kennedy's, 35% Jefferson's or the like.

Does it mean places will offer less for silver coins so some may be spared from melting by jewelers so that the coins can survive for future coin collectors?

I love silver and gold probably MORE than the next guy... but I would advise against buying either right now... simply put it's NOT on the upswing.. therefore it's a depreciating asset.

It's a whole lot better to wait and buy.. than buy and wait for an upswing...

Only people that would be "stacking" right now are pure speculators, and "preppers" ...

I'll stick with numismatic silver and gold right now.. and go back to bullion if/when there's an upswing

Silver futures report showed Commercial Traders/Banksters piled on short contracts last several weeks. Their total position sees a short/long ratio of 2.01 now.

Looks like Silver is going to resume downtrend, again.

I would think they'd want to realize the profit on upwards of 50% premiums that junk silver is bringing. Why sell to a refiner? From what I've read, some dealers are raising their buy prices higher, lack of inventory.

Looks like silver is going to resume its upward swing, again.

I could keep saying this too, got to be right some of the time. Doesn't take a genius to make these posts.
