fairtraderz, I got blocked for making a few low offers I think, but I only made them because his asking prices were absurd and I was never contacted about it being a problem at all.

Here's a new one. This seller currently has four accounts for selling on ebay. The problem with this seller is shipping. They charge $4.49 for standard USPS first class shipping and want an additional $1.99 for "protective packaging". You have to decline the "optional" packaging on the invoice and they send you a separate invoice without the $1.99 charge. The coin arrived in a #2 envelope with .89 postage and was machined-canceled. Fortunately it sustained no damage. All current accounts are out of New York City and Brooklyn and they all use the same boilerplate for shipping. Acct IDs are:

Awe c'mon Ozzie you have to do some of the work. That's why I put the date of the entry so you can easily find the listing. It helps put it in context better than a column entry.

I was extremely upset when they removed the coin I won from the 2x2 and inserted what they thought would be a coin I couldn't tell the difference. The coin I won was a 78-S long nock and they inserted a short nock. Don't do this to a VAMmer. At first they said I was mistaken and there was no way they could make a mistake. I then noticed the 2x2 in hand had a staple removed and replaced. I reviewed the ebay picture again and it was not replaced. I guess they noticed it was a long nock after it sold. I won't do business with someone who lies, cheats and steals.

Be very deligent in purchasing any item. Review the seller's feedback and look to see if the seller is a member of the the NDRB (Numismatics Dealers Registry Board). This is a new group that looks like they are serious with their dealings in Numismatics.
