Most variety attributers now recognize this as a die gouge instead of a doubled die, but it still has value. Coppercoins and Coneca have this delisted, but wexler's still lists this as wddo-002, a best of variety. In this condition I'd estimate around $5-10

The reverse pic looks like a Close AM to my eyes.

Not sure if what you show is from the same die but what I shot (shown here) is the same coin that BJ Neff originally called a Doubled Die. I and others went along with this at the time but many of us now think it's more likely a die gouge. No matter what it is, it's neat and I have no plans to remove it from our listings in Strike It Rich With Pocket Change but will note that it is more likely a die gouge.
