Yup got my second email but missed the first's on my mom's order... huh. Oh well glad I got them though :) Not looking too great for my second set though... doesn't matter how low people are going they still aren't selling at least today... I would really like to at least pay off my two sets selling my other.. we will see.

I got mine in the first 10 minutes (Order Number: USM035507xx) and am not really too surprised that sales are still available. I think it's partly due to the higher quantity made and, aside from the name, isn't really an attention grabber. Compared to the previous two C&C's issued, this one is pretty skimpy. As a collector, I'm not worried about the future value of this item, but I'm hoping I have not already overpaid by buying directly from the Mint. I paid the $100+ to the Mint earlier this year for the 4-pack Kennedy Anniversary set but can get it now for $10 to $20 less on ebay. |

This thing may be availavle for a couple of days.. the biggest thing may be the quality will be worse since the mintage is at 50,000

I think we've confirmed that at least 40,000 have sold. The other 10,000 will go in after hours orders. Resell prices will, however, be terrible. |

Darn. I just remembered that I planned on picking up a Roosevelt set with this order. I don't suppose they will last until the LBJ set, will they?

Well cheapest I have found on ebay is $180 for a sealed box of two making it $90 per set. If there are people that actually miss this set at least the ebay prices won't be TERRIBLE. |

Maybe its just me but I think all 50,000 should have been produced before these went on sale as to not make people angry and wait for backorders. I really don't understand the mints rationale for not doing it this way.
