No shipping confirmation here - I'm wondering if I messed up by ordering a couple other items at the same time. By the time things get put together, they may be out of stock for the C&C. So many variables...

Which reminds me, what was the first C&C that was issued? Was it the Jefferson with the $2 bill and the special nickel?

Just looked at 9:28 eastern and they are still available. Hard to believe with mintages of 17k the 1st to sold out in under 20. And at 50k still available after 9+ hrs. I got my 2 and they shipped already also. Rob

@Biedercoins: Coin & Chronicles: 2005 John Marshall 2006 Ben Franklin 2009 Abe Lincoln... then Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Truman, Ike and today the Kennedy with the last three being reverse proofs. You may be thinking of the Coin and Currency Set was the 1993 Thomas Jefferson Silver Dollar, which was issued in 2004 and set included the uncirculated silver dollar, a 1994-P Jefferson nickel with a special matte proof finish, and a 1976 $2 banknote. Someone correct me if I don't have these in the right order. |

so not even a first day sell out. huh. I believe many will returned. It is just a guess, but that is what I foresee at this point.

Just saw a BIN auction close at $85. So with about $17 in fees and shipping, that leaves about $10 profit. Hope this isn't a trend.

The montage and the low household limit really hits the potential hard on these sets.. The mint thinks because it's Kennedy it will sell better.. This has proven twice not to be the case,, the gold half did poorly.. I know it's not fun if you miss out on a set but man it's cool knowing what you buy is a key date

If the set included a special half, I think demand would have been greater. personally, I think the dollar is dreadful and the medal is just a reissue of an old design. If it wasn't RP, I wouldn't have bought it.

The "expected in-stock date" is now Sep28. It seems like all orders will ship within the 30 day timeframe.
