Latest mint figures show a negative change of 250. Amazing how 97% sold in the first hour and then it sat.

It means they set the mintage limit too high if they wanted a sellout, or just right if they wanted fair distribution.

If or when they lift the hh limit, I bet it will sell out quickly.

I thought the Mint has someone reading this website? They should grant this 'wish' to all members on here.

Seems like the mint hit it just about perfect... available at the issue price for anybody who wants one. Oh and let's spare a few crocodile tears for the poor little flippers... the only ones making money is the mint and the TPG

Mike from HSN was on TV last night selling the Kennedy's at $200 for the 69's and $700 for the 70's. He allegedly was moving them at that price.

He also said that he had bought 2,500 - 3,500 sets from the Mint, and mentioned that the demand was SO HIGH that the Mint's website crashed and the set sold out within 5 minutes. Hmmm, it's amazing what some people say on TV.

He's a joke and he knows it. I wonder how much the true numismatist in him fights the alter ego he has created. Reminds one of Jim Baker don't ya think?
