Is it my imagination, or did they put my coin in the holder a bit rotated?

I think it is your imagination. The head is already awkward, but the lettering seems to be aligned.

Ooh, thanks for giving me a preview of the black. I wonder how many people will go for it

Okay, I looked again and I think it is rotated, at least judging by the reverse.

I may get my other "gold" coins reholdered in black. It does look good.

Notice that it's another 69. Can't seem to ever get a 70.

I sent my kennedys and about 8 morgans in for black retro but I'm also thinking of submitting my fire red album target toned 2000p sac for the black retro but I would have to do it on its own form so it would cost about $40 just for it... Still mulling it over. You don't see fire toned sacs that much so I'm still debating pcgs or ngc white or black retro

Well, the Kennedy's I sent it got 69's across the board. Looks like I'm lucky considering how a lot of people are saying the quality is a lot worse than the other sets. The good news is one of the two gold liberty coins I sent in got an MS70 (other came in at 69).

So what is the sentiment on these Kennedy RPs? Is the quality better, worse, or around the same as the Trumans and Ikes overall? Do you think there will be a larger or smaller number of 70s (as a percent) when compared to the other issues?

For a reverse proof the quality sucks...and I would say it is no different than the previous issues...BUT..the quality of the medals is worse.

I just opened 3 sealed boxes of two sets each..four of the six medals had multiple milk spots..painful and no excuse

I sent 10 NA C & Currency $1's in and get 8 70's (West Point). I could send in 50 of these Phily RP's and get squat...

Hmmmm..what's the difference?

From my observation reading threads I'd say overall quality is definatly better than ike and maybe a little better than truman too but still not up to standard.

I had no milk spots on my 4 medals but I've heard they are plagued with them. I was amazed how good my medals looked. No spot and hardly a mark on any. I was prepared for scuffs and scratches everywhere
