With those other silver quarters, look on the back for key mintmarks. The mintmark is found just below the olive branch on the reverse. If the 1938 is a 1938-s, that quarter could be worth much more than just the melt value. Report this Post to the Staff

I have a drawer I toss it into and at the end of the year or when the drawer gets to full to the safety deposit box it goes. I pulled this out after your post to see what was in there and I was a little bit surprised I had this much in there. The Kennedy halves in the case are all high MS 90%ers pulled from the wild.
