I'm thinking my attribution on this one is correct even though this coin is a much later die state. The telling feature is the bar between the B and U, which the mint almost erased , as shown in my third pic.
This type of clash can also be found on a number of 1960-D small date cents , a 1955-S cent and a 1960-D Large Date. This is a link to the listing of the earlier die state of the coin that I am posting.

Something to be on the lookout for when searching these dates.

It certainly looks like the clash is in the right place, though it isn't apparent across the full length of the letters as it is in the maddieclashes example. Perhaps yours is a later die stage though it looks like your coin is in better shape. Hopefully experts should weigh in tomorrow.

Looks pretty sweet, Stoneman. You know your stuff. I understand the 60-D is fairly rare. I'm hoping to find one soon - I have just come into 1/2% interest in a large collection by a man that collected by date only. Sorry, I just had to tell someone. lol

Yes. I am really looking forward to it. I have around 100 rolls to go through, mostly wheats and some 70's. I've looked in a roll of 51-S's and found the 004 I posted and a roll of 36's and think one is a DDO, yet to post it. Most all are in nice shape. I have to find the time to do it.
Rest in Peace
