Got these two recently...sort of...

You.com is a new AI search engine. It has an AI picture generator. So I wanted to have fun and see what it would do if I told it to draw a picture of an Eisenhower dollar coin dated 2023:

Eisenhower-Glory!-Post-Your-Ike-Circulation-And-CRH-Finds!

Not too bad I guess. So then I decided to tell it to just draw an Eisenhower dollar Coin:

Eisenhower-Glory!-Post-Your-Ike-Circulation-And-CRH-Finds!

Wondering why the AI thought Ike was grumpy?

That is... bizarre... yet I cannot look away!

When the machines take over, everyone thinks it will be like Terminator or Matrix... but I think they are just going to scare us into submission with disturbing art, be it text, images, or sounds.

Show us what you get!

Actually I have a lot of fun trying to trip it up.

Such as "a color photo picture of something impossible for an AI to generate a color photo of," "Do not generate a picture," "a color photo of a green nargle," and I mix up impossible decor mixes from different areas such as, "show me a color photo of a medieval-period hippie decor bedroom." I have had it make elvish are deco, elvish hippie, etc.

Actually I cannot believe when playing with decor the amazingly beautiful rooms it comes up with and is able to blend styles that don't blend.

I don't want to hijack this thread (anymore than I have!), so when I have tie may make an AI coin thread to show other pctures it came up with.

as long as AI continues to spell like that, I think we'll be able to detect its fakes

Reminds me of the group in the movie The Mummy (maybe 2nd movie?) where the crowd of brain dead mummy-controlled people are walking down the street chanting, "Imhotep...Imhotep....Imhotep... ."

I am preparing to move across the country, and as a result, I packaged my ikes yesterday...Holy cow they are heavy! I probably have searched about 7,000 ikes in the past 6 years. I have about 300 Cu-Ni clad I will move because they are in excellent condition...Word to the wise, consider keeping only the best of the best ikes :-)
