Got home from work today and the mail guy wrote on one of my signs, "Put package in parcel box. No phone to call you. Sorry for the inconvenience."

There are professional thieves out there who raid mail boxes, mainly looking for useful papers, to steal your identity.
If there is a nice package that attracts them, they might take that as well.

Sorry for introducing this type of worry, but things like this can and do happen; I hope that is not the case here.

I destroy any document I receive through the post that has a barcode on it (that includes bills) if I don't need to retain it.
Simply tear a small hole out of the barcode before disposal.
