If there is a nice package that attracts them, they might take that as well. Sorry for introducing this type of worry, but things like this can and do happen; I hope that is not the case here. I destroy any document I receive through the post that has a barcode on it (that includes bills) if I don't need to retain it. Simply tear a small hole out of the barcode before disposal.
