I think denomination plays a role in the resale value of a star note. $1 notes from rare runs are more sought after than $100 notes from rare runs because not many people have $100 to tie up.

That 2017 $1 Minneapolis replacement note was the hot ticket back in 2018 and 2019, just after they came out. Nice find Skippy.
