Try researching coins from Ceylon/Sri Lanka, possibly the Chola Empire.

Here is what I came up with on my search. There seem to be so many variaties of the "octopus king" I couldnt narrow mine down. But sri lankan is the right direction.https://goccf.com/t/236925
