First and foremost this quarter is a very close cousin to the one found in the following post by member "uruman":

https://goccf.com/t/219010#219010

I received it in pocket change at my local grocer. It appears to be both clipped and a minor accompanying Blakesley Effect. I am amazed at how similar this coin is to uruman's in the same year!

I am looking through mobile and your pics are quite dark, so I can't see the obverse well enough. From what I can see on the reverse around the clip, it looks okay. The rim dovetails like a real one should.

Weakness in the strike in that area fits too

Similar clip position, uruman's was a double clip though. Also, just so that you are aware: the planchets are cut and rimmed so the position they are cut has no relation to how it is struck. I see slight blakesley. To get more confirmation try to take another close picture with a little more light on the letters near the clip. You should see the flow of the metal on the letters heading towards the clip

doesn't look right to me, I'm not seeing any blakesley effect, at least not as much as should show with the size of the clip

even with the new pics I'm not seeing the blakesely effect. looks to me like the coin took a hit where the effect should show. also the clip looks to be PMD to me, there is too much raggedness to it and I'm seeing collateral damage to the E and R in liberty.

The Blakesley effect can be subtle or not there at all. flyank, when you look at the rim inside the clipped part, what does it look like?

As requested, here are closeups of the possible clip showing rim interior.
