I bought this cent as part of a group and the case is scratched (not the coin). Is this cent different? It doesn't apear Dbl Die but is thicker on the edge. Any identification or valuation would be greatly appreciated. I am still trying to learn as much and as fast as I can.
Sincerely,
Peele Dunn

I'm not sure of your question. The coin is not one of the best double dies; does the case say it is?

But there are minor DDO's that have double eyelids and/or not so dramatic separation.

So are you asking about the flow of the lettering at the top of the coin, or the case says it's a DDO or
