Looks like a very early strike off fresh dies, and yet never circulated. This is quite a rare coin; I suspect that the price realised ($1,000) may have been too low. I have examined a genuine proof PH two bob alongside a gem unc (MS65++) in two lots, at public auction view day. Neither of these two coins was a genuine three stepper. Well done, ole fella! trout1105 Pillar of the Community Australia 7096 Posts	Posted 10/08/2015 08:34 am This actually only cost me $750 as the highest bidder made a mistaken bid I have never heard of one of these let alone seen one before. I couldn't log in on auction night an I was devistated at first when I saw that I had been out bid then I got an email from Walter explaining what had happened on the night and that my $750 proxy bid had secured the coin for me Definitely a "One off" coin and for a Canberra Florin apreciator a jewel in the crown Report this Post to the Staff
