My 1882-O dollar can't compare with some of the beauties that have been posted here, but it's very special to me as it was my very first Morgan, and it was given to me by a schoolteacher from Texas who came over to England on a job exchange program and got to meet my family. I've had this coin for 39 years!

Wow dave, that toned on your watch. That's cool. You mentioned maybe dipping it. If you are still thinking about it I'd rather get it from your and conserve it Ron C... welcome and WOW... Do you also have Pride, Greed, Lust, Gluttony, Wrath & Sloth

Just got back from a show, so I am coming in a little late for the 1882 section. Here is one of my "discovery coins" housed in an ANACS 62 holder, and way undergraded in my opinion. Looks better than many of my MS64s. Photos courtesy of Todd at BluCC, though the photos are reduced in quality from using the CC image optimizer. That being said, the images were all less than 200KB until I uploaded them to the thread, and then they were all just very slightly over 200kb. I hope this is alright. Next time I will do more reducing..

My only 1882 Morgan of any mint mark is this raw 1882-P. Haven't got around to VAM yet, and I think the grade is probably MS62, but the strike is superior. It's not toned, the lighting is the cause.
