Thanks for the comments. I have a couple more of 1881's. The "Hot Steel" is PL on the observe. I named the one "Darth Morgan" before I knew someone had that username. Sorry 'bout that. If you want to see some stunning toned coins, especially Morgans, look at a guy that goes by Aurora Borealis, he's the owner of "The Moose", the 1881 S MS68+ Morgan. https://coins.www.collectors-societ....aspx?s=1525

Quote: 1883-O VAM35B Looks more like the 1882-O V38B ;) Neat variety by the way! Also, thanks for the compliments on the 1882-P VAM 35.

That is one amazing collection of rainbow toned coins. It is no wonder that the monster toned coins are so expensive as Aurora Borealis tried to buy them all.

1883-O is my date so I can't wait! I have WAYtoo many of these, but some are noteworthy in my book. I've been trying to only post one per year, but I've got another DC in 1883 CC to share too ;) I'll apologize in advance if I happen to post too many... depends on how much time I have tomorrow since I can't do too much tonight since we are still on 1882 ...
You guys definitely have some great coins though and I can't wait to see more!

I keep waiting on someone to post a Simpson coin :) Hopefully at least one CCF member was fortunate and blessed enough to own one of those amazing toners.

I am not so fortunate or blessed. :( Those Simpson I Morgans sold for low-mid 4 figures to low to mid 5 figures for each one. If I sold my entire 1932-1964 Washington 25c registry set (64.5 ave, currently #20) I would only be able to afford three or four of those Morgans or maybe five if I got very lucky. Owning at least one is definitely on my coin "Bucket List", though, along with a billion other dreams.
Some of ron_c's coins that he has posted above are probably the second nicest I've seen next to the Simpson dollars, and that's an extremely high compliment.
