Forgot this one yesterday guys. I've had it tucked away thinking there could be a Greaser under the heavy handling!? What do you guys think? Greaser too or just wear/damage. I had a thought a while ago that it might be a CC and the C's were heavily greased out!? This was before I knew much though it's been tucked away and forgotten about for a while. Any thoughts?

@Cascade -- It appears to be an 1889-P VAM-9 Slanted Far Date; I think I can see the die chip in the ear that is a diagnostic die marker. May have been Struck Through Grease on the lower reverse; definitely heavy wear -- this reminds me of what they looked like after a few years in the machines at Reno and Vegas.

Thanks paralyze. I put this up a while ago before I got into vamming and just found it looking for scattered morgans for this thread. I'll take a look with my loupe when I get a chance but it's almost gotta be v9 I'm thinking. I'm kinda busy finding talon head clashed ikes like candy out of my new stash right now. Talk about going through a sack the day after Halloween!

Nice! I'm sure jbuck will be patiently waiting for the pictures :) There have some really nice Ike lots up lately, in bulk; it's not a bad deal -- buy a lot, keep the keepers, trade the rest in at your bank, buy more Ikes ;) My local Chase branch actually ran out of dollar coins. I get a roll with every paycheck I deposit, and got their last 20 this past Friday -- 4 Sacs, 7 SBA's, and 9 Presidents, two of which were Pos. B (a Lincoln and a Madison); strangely, no Ikes. They were also completely out of half dollars for the first time in recent memory.
